There could be five new Malayalam releases this weekend (Oct 4). These films are perhaps hoping to make an impact before the two big releases on Oct 11, Idukki Gold and Pattam Pole.Kanchi, directed by G N Krishnakumar, has Indrajith, Murali Gopi and Maria in the lead.
